From distraction to focus
SELF TRUST
Constant distraction is the norm
It might be the current norm, but it’s not natural and definitely not healthy!
Are you constantly on your phone?
You might hardly be conscious of tapping into the news for covid updates, clicking into your inbox and get on auto-pilot deleting emails, or scrolling on social media for the next entertaining (dopamine) hit to your brain.
Why does your mind jump around and feel like you need to multitask all the time.
You feel perpetually rushed and hectic, with this underlying anxiety in the background.
And you then wonder why you never feel rested. You neck and eyes are strained. You can’t breathe deeply, gained weight from craving crap food, always tired, losing your temper (at kids and spouse or whomever is close to you), and you are so far away from this elusive presence and calm.
You’re constantly plugged in. You’re constantly staying connected.
Is this such a good idea after all?
Disconnect first
Disconnect from your outer world
This idea is so as to reconnect with your inner world, to maintain that connection and grow it stronger.
What for though? What does presence bring you?
Awareness, and awareness is one of the first steps towards better understanding of yourself and your situation, acceptance of your body, your feelings, your self, and eventually better decision making from a place of clarity where you can truly see and feel your heart’s desire.
What does this lead to? Happier relationships, better health.
Balance is key
There must be harmony in this too, not a black or white approach where you become a recluse.
Yes you need external guidance so read those books, join those communities and get the support you can; but the other side to the coin is to tap into your inner wisdom.
Both outer and inner knowledge are necessary for you to heal, to live a healthy life.
It could be that you don’t yet trust that there are answers within. And that’s what we work on uncovering in our 1:1 coaching containers, that you can access guidance and wisdom also from yourself, your body, your heart.
