Get what you want by letting go

YIELD

Let go in order to receive

I find that most people when they ask for more energy more love more forgiveness more peace more calm more freedom more clarity etc., what they really need to ask themselves is:

What do I need to let go of, in order for these things I want to enter my realm?

What thoughts do I need to release in myself, in order for self-love, self-trust and self-worth to unveil themselves?

What expectations of others am I living up to that's hindering the great reveal of myself? (guilt-trips, beliefs, values, etc.)

We fail to realize that expressing our real feelings and needs is not the same as being narcissistically entitled.

I see that you already have love/peace/calm/clarity/ whatever you desire deep inside you, it’s that you're being weighed down by other things like unhealed wounds, unhelpful core beliefs, unhealthy patterns like codependency or behaviours that create problems in your life and that make it difficult to reach your personal goals or to even ask for what you want.

A crucial ingredient in surrendering

Welcome change, with open arms!

There is nothing more opposing to nature than remaining stuck, trapped, stagnant, emotions festering, fermenting into resentment, or at a gridlock in a relationship.  It's unnatural!

Change involves simultaneously adapting to your situation while remaining true to yourself.

Change requires mustering the courage to say no while you feel the fear of repercussions.

Change includes lovingly dissolving shame which is hindering your authenticity.

Change calls for summoning strength to say goodbye to some expired relationships.

Change includes looking at your parents and grandparents, examining your childhood, and studying yourself, (and for some, observing your children), and realising a damaging pattern there which is causing pain, misery and sickness.  And doing something to rejig the generational cycle.

Self Care

And self-care is not about adding things to do in your already stretched-thin burning-out overwhelmed life, I mean, your to-do list is already quite long right??

It’s about taking things away, letting things and people go.

Simplifying your life.

To allow your original self to shine through, to also allow space for things/people/circumstances which are more aligned.
